Role Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic, charismatic, and knowledgeable individuals to join our team as Food Experience Hosts. In this role, you will lead small groups of tourists on a culinary journey through Getsemaní, exploring iconic landmarks and hidden culinary gems and sharing the city's amazing stories. This part-time position is perfect for those who love connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and have a passion for storytelling and food.

Responsibilities:

● Conduct dynamic and fun food experiences around Getsemaní, ensuring a safe and

enjoyable experience for all guests.

● Share insightful stories and facts about Cartagena’s culinary scene, engaging guests with your knowledge and enthusiasm.

● Manage experience schedules and routes efficiently, with tours running both in the morning and in the afternoon, between 2 and 3 times a week

● Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns with

professionalism and a positive attitude.

● Communicate consistently with the tour manager regarding specifics of each tour and ensure proper record-keeping.

● Ensure the experience group's needs are met and that the adventure is memorable and enjoyable for all.

● Collaborate with the Sherpa Food Tours team to continually improve the experience.

Requirements:

● Professional in English; additional language skills are a plus.

● Strong knowledge of Colombia’s history, culture, culinary scene, and landmarks.

● Exceptional storytelling and communication skills.

● Friendly, engaging, and outgoing personality.

● Ability to manage groups and provide a high level of customer service.

● Passion for food and discovering the best culinary spots in the city.
